- What are Learning Objects?
- AROLE Project
The AROLE (Academic Reusable Objects for Learning Enhancement) Project was a collaborative partnership between Marjon's Academic Skills and e-Learning Teams, who set out to produce a range of student-focused learning objects to support some of the critical skills required to succeed at degree-level study. The outputs of the project can be accessed below. If you have any queries about the project, or any of the materials below, please contact Helen Heywood or e-Learning Support.

- Open Educational Resources
Generally shortened to OERs, Open Educational Resources are digital/electronic materials that can be re-used for learning, teaching or assessment purposes. As the name suggests, these resources are 'open', allowing anyone to use the materials without having to seek Copyright agreement from the author. Instead, there is a requirement to 'attribute' the author/source of the work (although in some cases other restrictions may be imposed).
