  • Interruption of Studies

    For whatever reason, there may be times when you are finding it very difficult to continue with your studies. In these cases, it may be possible to arrange an interruption of your studies and return to continue your studies later.

    If you are considering interrupting your studies, you should first seek advice from your Programme Leader or Programme Area Leader and Student Support to discuss all the possible consequences, as there may be implications both financially and academically.

    You should also ensure that you read Section 11 of the Student Regulations Framework (for the current academic year) which tells you about the process for interrupting your studies and what the implications are.

    You will then need to complete the Interruption of Studies form (see below) and follow Steps 1 to 4 given on the form.
